Yeah, he’s got stage charisma but he’s also got blow the mic, I mean, blow the mind away talent. Meet vocal synthesizer, sound mimic, beatbox mastermind Fogatron. Fogatron has been performing in his hometown of Portland, Or. since 2001. He has also wowed crowds as far away as Thailand, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Tokyo, London, Munich, Bruge in Belgium and last stop Maui, Hawaii. Fogatron has performed with world renowned artists including KRS1, Digital Underground, Andy Stokes, Patrick Lamb, Aceyalone, Linda Hornbuckle and Gift of Gab. According to Mike Russell of The Oregonian “Actually calling Fogatron a beatbox artist is a little like calling a scratch turntablist someone who plays records.”

Fogatron performs live in clubs around town solo or sometimes with the band Luminous Fog. As a member of the non-profit, music education group Ethos, Fogatron performs in public schools and special needs centers. Recently his talent has been included in the locally produced children's book and cd One Night In Frogtown. Fogatron is also featured on Bridgetown Breaks vol.2 and the Vegan Fitness: Built Naturally DVD.

He is endorsed by Soy a clothing company out of Seattle, Wa. In 2004 he won the Portland Mercury Pizzaz competition alongside local rapper Manic D. He has been highlighted in The Oregonian, The Portland Mercury, Willamette Week and Seattle’s Stranger. Matt Gross of the New York Times calls Fogatron “The Portland legend” He has been interviewed on Portland’s 101 KUFO and 90.7 KBOO. He has also been a guest on FOX 12’s Good Day Oregon.

Fogatron is working towards a national or international tour. He anticipates recording in collaborated efforts with other artists and is ready to demonstrate his talent in film and commercial projects. As the Famous Mysterious Actor put it “the only thing that would be better would be if you programmed a robot to be a human beatbox.”
